Father God, I pray that all who call upon Your name today will be comforted. You are the Light, and the darkness cannot comprehend or overcome You. Fill us with Your light and love, that our innermost being will receive healing and rest, and Your goodness will become contagious to all around us. In Jesus name – Amen.

    1. Hi, Jerry! Lots more encouragement and good stuff to come. Love you and Shirley!

    2. This is a good reminder of who’s in charge & how to stay grounded in that fact. I’ve had times where I’ve begged God for a sign. But it took me awhile to realize his signs were sometimes quiet & subtle. I wanted something bright, loud & unmistakable. Once I started reading more & interacting more with Him, I found my signs- they were there all along. His patience and steadfastness never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for the video Hallee, I needed the reminder. ?

      1. Ruth! What a great testimony; thank you for sharing. Many years ago, I felt something “big” was on the horizon from God, but I didn’t yet know what to make of it. Therefore, I decided to take a big leap in how I was serving God. This led to an amazing journey of serving orphans in Russia regarding job related services for several weeks. It truly was an amazing journey, and one I’ll never forget, but when I returned it was “life as usual” which didn’t meet my expectations for BIG change. I remember yelling at God, “Apparently I need a billboard! Where’s my billboard?!?” The big change did eventually come, but not as I anticipated – I think that may be God’s specialty… doing things the way we least expect it! In conclusion – between this memory and the story I shared in the devo, I think I may be yelling at God way too much! Thanks for joining us, Ruth.
